the best fortune I've ever seen is one my friend still keeps in her purse:
"Help! I'm being held prisoner in a fortune cookie factory."
We laughed and laughed...hope it wasn't a serious note.
Without a word of a lie -- the sixth frame had the applicant gone from the frame and the manager reading "Help, I'm trapped in a Chinese fortune cookie factory!"
But I scrapped it cause I figured the real punch line was on frame 3 and I'd already dragged it out long enough...
I've also received the "Help" cookie before.
Now I know what to do with all of the fortunes I have shoved in the ashtray of my car.
I would be sad to work at an office that didn't appreciate fortune cookie fortunes as resume fodder.
