Due to my participation in the National Novel Writing Month contest - or festival - or however you categorize it - blog entries through November may be few and far between.
I'm writing a novel about an outcast misfit who is entirely insane. [Editor's note: autobiography]
And it's not an autobiography. The editor is just being a goof. [Editor's note: I know you are but what am I?]
Everything Starts With A Story

In 1802 Albert Mathieu-Favier began telling people a story. Imagine, he
said, a tunnel that dives under the sea that separates France from England.
It will...

I have too many idea's... best of luck to you!
I adore insane, outcast misfits. Outcast misfits is really hard to say out loud.
Looking forward to reading your autobiography.
It's not an autobiography, Kats. Pure fiction.
BTW - I saw an excerpt from Claudia's Nano entry and it's very good stuff!
Babs, You're right. I can only say it one times quickly.
aren't we the pair.. still checking each others blogs when we are supposed to be doing something else.... *whistles and goes back to MS office word*
Hi FWG,
Don't know why it took me so long to stumble on your blog! Am lovin' it! Nice to find another local writer:)
Am looking to relocate to Streetsville as I am slowly losing interest in my current village. Could you drop me an email? Would love to ask a couple questions but can't seem to locate an email addy for you :)
Cheers
Well, I'm officially a moron. I kept checking your blog, knowing that you warned your posting would be sparse this month, but hoping for something. Anything. And I just now looked and thought to myself, Hey, Fwig's moving his little thing.
But then I realized how that sounded. So what I really mean to say is that I just now noticed that you're moving your word count snail. And he is an adorable snail. Run little snail before the bsjxaq gets you!
You haven't updated for a couple of days... did I pass you in word count? :P or are you just a typing your lil heart out and and at 16000 by now?
Look at you go Rich! Right on, and thanks for your words too.
Wow, when you said posts were going to be scarce you weren't kidding. I was hoping to see stuff on Claudia's kitty...
Hey! Your snail morphed into a turtle. Or has it always been a turtle and I'm just a moron?
But anyway, I'm rooting for whatever animal you decide to put up next.
Supermom: You're welcome. But get that word count up or I'll start getting bitchy!
Babs, When I hit the one-quarter milestone (here - I'll save you the work: 12500!) I figured I deserved a promotion. Not sure what to do at the half-way mark. Too early for a rabit, wascally or otherwise. Any suggestions anyone?
Kats, I could at least throw up a cat pic. You're right.
Actually I think a rabbit is perfect. According to the official How Fast Can Land Animals Go Chart, cheetahs are at the top at 70 mph, while a garden snail is at the bottom at 0.03 mph. The rabbit is at 35 mph which is almost exactly in the middle!
Or you could just use a chipmunk. Or a manatee. I love manatees. What about a goat? Or how 'bout a wart hog or a kangaroo?
I'm going to stop now.
I would love it if you changed your little animal to a rhinoceros...they're my favorite!
Unless you can find an erjwtu.
I prefer goats
PK
Naturally a goat would be my first choice. Even a rhino or manatee would be excellent but alas, upon futher examination I realize that of the hundreds of choices the vast majority of the motile organisms are elephants, butterflies or human babies and very little else.
You can have an elephant or butterfly of any colour in the rainbow, one of a dozen or more babies, choice of two snails, three rabits, a turtle, horse or frog. And I think there was a man with his finger planted firmy up his nose. But only his head and hand appeared in the image. No feet. Thus he didn't appear motile.
But I thank you all for the excellent suggestions.
