Or must I first impress the Matrix? Must I play the game and work at building a conventional resume and only then, leverage what reputation follows.

Of late I have doubted my abilities, though I have heard good writers say, Of course! We all do! I still wonder if writing is my way forward. Perhaps that question will soon be resolved.
